Wholesale Customer role
A role for approved buyers. Give it to anyone from the Users screen, or let customers apply for it.
Give approved wholesale customers their own prices, quantity discounts and order minimums, right in your store. Buyers apply through a form, and nothing is created until you approve.

Minimum wholesale order: 12 items or $300
A role for approved buyers. Give it to anyone from the Users screen, or let customers apply for it.
A default wholesale discount for the whole store, or a fixed wholesale price per product or per variation.
Discounts by quantity, written like "10:5, 50:10". They stack on top of the wholesale price, per cart line.
A minimum number of items or a minimum subtotal for wholesale orders, enforced in the cart and at checkout.
Logged-out visitors see no prices and can’t buy, including in the block cart, the Store API and structured data.
A [uwbp_application_form] shortcode. No account is created until a shop manager or admin approves.
Each variation gets its own wholesale price and tiers, based on its own regular price, through cart and checkout.
No data is sent to any third party. Works with WordPress’s data export and erase tools, and with HPOS.
Change the numbers. This uses the plugin’s own rules: the wholesale price comes from the regular price (sale prices are ignored), a fixed price beats the default discount, and quantity tiers stack on top.
A visitor fills in the form: name, email, company, tax or VAT ID and a note. It’s saved as a private record. No account yet.
The shop owner gets an email. Review it under Users › Wholesale Applications, as an administrator or shop manager.
Approve creates the account (or adds the role to their existing one) and emails a set-password link. Reject sends nothing.
Approved buyers log in and see their own prices, quantity tiers and order minimums across the store.
An application’s contact name, email address, company, tax or VAT ID and note, as a private record only administrators and shop managers can see, and emailed to your notification address.
Sent to any third-party service. The visitor’s IP address isn’t stored: it’s only used, hashed, for a rate-limit counter that expires after an hour.
Applications are included in WordPress’s Export and Erase Personal Data tools, and suggested wording is added to your privacy policy guide. Details in our privacy policy and terms.
Requires WooCommerce, WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
Under Users › Wholesale Applications. Administrators and shop managers can approve or reject each one.

Yes. Give the user the Wholesale Customer role from the Users screen.
Yes. A variation’s fixed wholesale price applies only to that variation, its own tiers are used if set (otherwise the product’s), and without a fixed price the default discount applies to the variation’s regular price.
