Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy or use a paid plan from Umbrella Web ("we", "us"), Philippines. By buying or using a paid plan you agree to them.

Free plugins

Our free plugins on wordpress.org are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later. These terms don't limit your rights under that license.

Buying a plan

Plans are sold through Freemius, Inc., which handles payment, invoices and sales tax as the seller. Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your Freemius account or by writing to us; your plan then runs until the end of the period you paid for. See also our refund policy.

Licenses

A license works on the number of sites in your plan. You may move it from one site to another, but not share it beyond that number.

Price changes

We tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your renewal.

Acceptable use

Don't use our services to break the law, to attack or overload other systems, or on sites you don't own or manage. We may suspend or close an account that does, and refund any unused time where the law requires it.

Liability

Our products are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. This doesn't limit any consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

Upsure Pro

What the service does. Upsure Pro adds a visual check to the free plugin. During each plugin or theme update on a site with your license, our service takes screenshots of the pages you chose before and after the update, compares them, and tells your site whether a page now looks clearly different. Your site, not our service, decides whether to roll the update back, using the setting you chose in Tools → Upsure.

A rollback is a best effort. Upsure lowers the risk of an update breaking your site, but it can't promise to catch every problem or to restore every site. In particular:

• It restores the plugin's or theme's files, not database changes the update made.
• It checks only the pages you chose, as a visitor sees them; pages behind a login aren't checked.
• It can report a change you intended, such as a redesign in the update. You can reinstall that update with one click, and list areas to ignore.
• If our service is slow or unavailable, the update goes ahead with the free checks only.

Keep your own full backups. You remain responsible for your site and its content.

Your pages. You must own or manage the sites you use Upsure Pro on, and allow our service to load their public pages. If your site blocks our service, for example with a firewall, the visual check is skipped.

Availability. We aim to keep the service running at all times but don't guarantee it. Planned maintenance happens outside European business hours where possible.

Umbrella Web B2B Pricing for WooCommerce

What it is. B2B Pricing is a free WooCommerce plugin, licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later (see Free plugins). It adds a Wholesale Customer role, wholesale prices, quantity discount tiers, order minimums, the option to hide prices from guests, and a wholesale application form.

Your store, your prices. You set the wholesale discounts, fixed prices, quantity tiers and order minimums, and the plugin applies them to the regular price. You remain responsible for the prices, taxes and orders in your store. Check your settings with a test wholesale account before you invite buyers.

Who gets wholesale access. You decide which applications to approve. The plugin doesn't check a business, its tax or VAT ID, or any other detail an applicant gives; that is up to you.

Your customers' data. Applications are stored on your own site and never sent to us. You are responsible for handling them lawfully. What the plugin stores, and the tools it gives you, are described in our privacy policy.

Provided as it is. Like our other products, B2B Pricing is provided as it is, and the Liability section above applies. Keep your own backups of your store. For help, write to support@umbrellaweb.net.
